How does it work?
How does it work?
Our Tinylume Atom features a single high-speed spinning blade with RGB LED lights that rapidly change colors. Bright areas in your video appear solid, while dark areas become transparent.
Your eyes and brain work together to blend these moving lights into a full image, giving the appearance of a holographic effect.
Combined with videos designed to create a sense of depth, like a spinning 3D object, the fan produces a highly convincing floating 3D hologram effect.
Does it come with the Holopuck stand?
Does it come with the Holopuck stand?
The holopuck stand can be purchased separately, as of right now we only offer it as an STL digital download for 3D printing.
We plan on bringing out a physical variant of the stand in the distant future. Please note that this STL file requires a 3D Printer.
If you do not have experience in 3D Printing, please seek out a local 3D Printing service.
Can I upload my own videos?
Can I upload my own videos?
Yes! You can upload any image or video to the fan over wifi using the provided iOS/Android app, or you can upload it directly to the SD card using our Windows processing software.
Keep in mind any regular videos uploaded to the fan will not automatically have a 3D holographic effect, however anything black in the image will appear as transparent.
How do I load your holograms?
How do I load your holograms?
Upon purchasing the Tinylume Atom, you'll be presented with a lifetime access link to download all of our custom made holograms, perfectly optimized for the Tinylume Displays. The archive will also be updated regularly with new 3D animations for you to try out!
Once downloaded you can either drop them straight onto the SD card or upload them via the mobile app.
Does it make a noise?
Does it make a noise?
the Atom produces very little noise, almost indistinguishable unless you are in a very quiet room. This sound is dampened even further when combined with the safety shield.
Additionally the Atom includes a built in speaker, so it will play the audio of any video you upload to it. This can also be muted or turned down using our app or remote.
Does it look as good in person?
Does it look as good in person?
It looks even better in person! The fan blades that you sometimes see on camera are completely invisible to the naked eye, we only see these on video recordings due to the shutter speed of the camera. In person it looks incredibly immersive!
